AND YOU KNOW HOW WMPG LOVES MARDI GRAS!!
This is the time of year that local restaurants start to plan their best Cajun creations for the WMPG Fat Tuesday party. But it’s 2021, and we’re in a different world. Worry not! Nothing will stop Mardi Gras, not even Covid.
Although we cannot gather together, we can creatively celebrate separately… but together through the power of radio and the internet. So, it will be different, REMOTE… but still fun!
But without the party, how will we celebrate?? With photos!
MUSIC: Tuesday, Feb 16, WMPG will be spinning Louisiana music all day! DJs have got great sets in the works for you, as they do every year!
FOOD: You’ll have to make, buy or find your own. Never tried making Gumbo? Maybe this is your year! An Etouffee? Jambalaya?? Find a recipe… or a local spot with some to take home, and then, take some photos of your celebration!
