On The Night Train Show next Wednesday, August 16, from 2:30 to 3 pm, Rick and Bill will be conducting a live interview with the two founding members of the local Blues-Rock band, Memphis Lightning. 
In the WMPG on-air studio will be singer and guitarist Darren “Lightnin” Thiboutot and his father, “Big Red,” who is also the band’s bass player and background singer.
These two very talented musicians, along with their 4-member band, have been touring up and down the East Coast since 2019.
Memphis Lightning will be playing locally at The Cadenza in Freeport on Thursday, August 17, with a 7 pm show.
