On Friday, December 1, at 5:30 pm, you can jump on board The Night Train with Southern Maine’s dynamic duo for a very special Friday evening stroll through The History of Rock & Roll.
Rockin’ Rick Scala and your Rock & Roll Rebel, Bill Audette, will have two very special guests on board The Night Train. Bill, Rick and special guest Art from Windham (long-time friend of The Night Train Show) will be interviewing prominent Maine author Ford Reiche, who will be discussing his latest book, A Long, Long Time Ago: Major Rock and Roll Concerts in Southern Maine (1955 – 1977).
Rick, Art and Bill are three of the many consultants for Ford’s new book. Tune in as these four vintage rockers detail a few of their many concert stories to go along with the songs and artists listed in Ford’s new book. On Monday morning, Dec. 4, (6 to 6:30 am), you can catch an abbreviated, live version of the Friday show, with Bill, Rick and Ford.
100% of the book sale proceeds is being donated to the Maine Historical Society, the third oldest such institution in America.
