Everyday in the month of February WMPG is airing a short audio feature about an influential Black man or woman in history. We’ll hear about people from Maine to Malawi. We celebrate scientists, radicals, teachers, preachers, musicians, athletes, and those who fought to followed their dreams. On January 14, Amjambo Africa and University of Southern Maine radio station WMPG will launch “Amjambo Time” as part of WMPG’s new Global Mainers initiative.
