I grew up in a crazy little town nestled between Fisher's Peak and Simpson's Rest. An old cowboy and mining town, with Drop City on its outskirts...Crazy. There was a small radio station KCRT that broadcast nothing of interest for me or the people I knew. The only hip station was 'KOMA - Oklahoma City.' I've yet to figure out how sound was transmitted from that distance. I sometimes say in jest "My transistor radio saved my life." It's true, equipped with our cassette recorder my sis and I played DJ's. We even had our own radio station call out - 'KKAA - Katz & Kim At it Again.'
Is it any wonder that I would cross paths with WMPG? So here I am doing radio for you! And, "I Loves It - Oh Yeah!!" :))
