This past Tuesday night was electric at WMPG’s annual Battle of the Bands, where 11 incredibly talented acts lit up the stage in an unforgettable evening of music, community, and pure passion.
Taking home first place was none other than Graham Ganter, who wowed the crowd (and judges!) with his soulful voice, masterful guitar work, he was accompanied by an impressive fiddle player. Graham’s talent earned him a full-day recording session at Monaco Studios — a state-of-the-art, solar-powered facility located right in Falmouth. Big things ahead for this multi-talented artist!
Second place honors went to the high-energy band Disinformation Project, whose set delivered raw energy and serious chops. They’re walking away with a generous gift certificate from Buckdancer’s Choice to fuel their musical journey even further. There was also an audience raffle courteous of Bull Moose Music.
The full lineup of bands included: Off-Screen, The Longfellows, Horse Funeral, Unabomber, 2nd Place winner Disinformation Project, 1st Place winner! Graham Ganter, Neal Ray, Noetic, Ophiuchus, Befri Stends, and Hilary Silver.
A huge shout-out to all the bands who competed — your talent made the night truly special. We can’t wait to see where your music takes you next.
Until next year… keep rocking!
